1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Sendchat, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

Sendchat provides live chat software including an embeddable widget, agent inbox, and related features. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice when possible.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate registration information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity under your workspace, including actions by invited agents.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Sendchat to:

• Send spam, harassment, or illegal content.
• Violate any applicable law or third-party rights.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other accounts.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Free trial and billing

• New workspaces receive a 7-day free trial with no payment required.
• After the trial, a paid subscription is required to keep the widget active.
• Payments are processed through Paystack. Prices are listed on our pricing page.
• Subscriptions renew for the period stated on your plan unless cancelled before renewal.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of chat messages, visitor data, and files uploaded through your workspace. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display this content solely to provide the service.

7. Visitor data

As a workspace owner, you are the data controller for visitor information collected through your widget. You must comply with applicable privacy laws and inform your visitors as required.

8. Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not liable for lost revenue, data, or indirect damages arising from use of the service.

9. Limitation of liability

Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

10. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for violations of these terms or non-payment. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
